Talisha Carter-Moody
Licensed Professional Counselor | Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor
With over 35 years of experience, Talisha Carter-Moody is a respected mental health professional known for her compassionate, results-driven approach. She has devoted her career to supporting adults, teens, and couples dealing with grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, substance use, suicidal/homicidal ideations, and major life transitions. A Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor, Talisha is extensively trained in evidence-based practices and interventions. She previously served as the Statewide Counseling & Cognitive Behavioral Unit Manager for the Georgia Department of Corrections, leading statewide services, training, and program development until her retirement in 2021.Now in private practice, Talisha is passionate about helping individuals uncover their most authentic selves and live purposefully. She believes healing begins in safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental spaces. Outside of work, Talisha is a devoted wife of 31 years, proud mother, and loving “Ouma” to two granddaughters. Her deep faith inspires her mission to leave a lasting impact on every life she touches.​

Gena Chalfa
Licensed Professional Counselor | National Certified Counselor
Gena Chalfa is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor, who specializes in working with children and adolescents (ages 5-17) and adults. Gena is a compassionate and trauma-informed therapist with a strong foundation in school counseling and a seamless transition into private and clinical therapy. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science in School Counseling from Mercer University. She also has an Educational Specialist degree in School Counselor Education from Fort Valley State University.Gena has over seven years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families through emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges in both private and public schools. Her clinical experience includes supporting clients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, low self-esteem, and difficulties with coping skills. She utilizes evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). Gena is passionate about creating a safe, inclusive space for healing and growth.

Sarah Hussain
Physician Assistant
Sarah Hussain is a board-certified physician assistant with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from St. Bonaventure University in New York. She has been practicing in the field of psychiatry since 2024, gaining clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Originally from New Jersey, she has been living and working in Georgia for the past year.
She is committed to creating a safe, trusting, and comfortable environment for her patients. Her approach to mental health is holistic, addressing both the mind and body to promote lasting wellness. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys traveling, staying active through exercise, and exploring her new home in Georgia.
